In case both the husband and wife decline the chance to patch up, the conciliator then gives the petitioner a referral letter so that they can execute the necessary lawful proceedings for finalizing their divorce. The validity of this letter spans around three months. If it is submitted within three months of the issue date, only then the court can approve to hear the claimants’ case file. Once the case falls in the court’s jurisdiction, the power to decide its fate is reserved by the judges in the court of law. Both the parties hire respective attorneys to advocate their claims against the opposite party or defend themselves against the accusations hurled. After careful speculation and hearing the case from both sides, the court then grants them a divorce certificate which stands final and authentic thereon.
